Greek Doors
Doors tell a story. They stand as a barrier to what lies on the inside against the outside world. Doors tell a story of the people and possessions that reside behind them. The Greeks traditionally used slaves to answer doors and door knockers were to wake the sleeping house slave to answer the door. The hand design originates from the Hand of Fatima, believed to ward off evil.
